For family portraits, in general, stick with neutral solid colors that are relatively free from embellishments. Prints, patterns and logos can be distracting and don’t always photograph well. It’s important to create a unified look within your family. You don’t necessarily have to all wear the same exact color to achieve this. Just as you would coordinate the color of the décor within a room in your home, you can coordinate complementary colors of your family’s clothing. If you’re not all wearing the same color, the shades you choose should be close. Make it fun! Find an activity that your child(ren) enjoy doing. Whether it's climbing a tree, playing in a sandbox, or finding leaves in the canyon! I will travel anywhere in Utah County and surrounding area to photograph your family in their element! For a dramatic look, in the studio, you can choose a white background and wear white from head to toe, or a black background and wear black from head to toe. For newborn shots, I recommend scheduling your session within the first 10-15 days of life. It’s best to reserve your session time 1-2 weeks in advance. It will take 1-2 weeks for me to finish editing the images and you will receive a high resolution CD of the package of your choosing. I reserve the right to use all images taken for advertising purposes. If there is any reason you are not comfortable with this, please let me know. Relax, have fun! Enjoy each moment! This is what I’m here for, to preserve those memories you hold most dear to your heart! |
